UPDATE 01/2026: Another Piece in the Art Nouveau Series

Hi there!

This might look familiar - if you saw the last painting. The structure and overall approach are similar, but the colors have shifted. Rather than starting something completely new, I wanted to stay with the same visual language and see how much range and variation can emerge from a limited palette.

How it´s Done

Only in the final phase were the contour lines added. These lines tie everything together, sharpen the structure and clarify relationships between the shapes. What started as a collection of separate fields gradually became a single, connected surface. Here are a few steps from this process to show how the painting evolved over time.

Continuing the Series

This is not yet the end of the Art Nouveau series: I’m continuing to work within this visual language and explore where it can still lead — in color, scale and structure. And there´s still the Big Canvas Project to be finalised. I’ll share the next developments and new works in the upcoming newsletter. Thank you for following along!
