UPDATE 11/2025: New Series Begins & Big Canvas Project Evolves

Hi there!

The first piece of my new series is finished now: It picks up the interplay I’ve been exploring between geometry and organic form. This piece has already found a new home 😊. I will continue developing this series, drawing inspiration from Jugendstil and Art Nouveau: flowing lines, floral motifs and harmonious, ornamental rhythms. Several new pieces are already in planning, and I look forward to sharing them with you as they take shape. Like the work above, this pieces will also be created in a 70 cm × 100 cm format - with one exception.

The Big Canvas Project

The large-scale painting (100 cm x 140cm) I introduced in my last newsletter has progressed into its next stage and will be part of the new series mentioned above. The foundation layers are finished and I’m now building depth, detail, and structure.

While I’ve previously mentioned Jugendstil’s and Art Nouveau´s flowing lines and organic forms, what truly inspires me is its belief in unity — that art and life are inseparable and that beauty is a way of seeing the world, not mere decoration. A contour is never fixed: it sways, unfurls, and grows like a branch or a drifting current. In this series, I explore that movement — letting lines create relationships between calm and pulse, structure and softness, human order and nature’s persistence.
